The Story Behind TranZact
TranZact was founded by Ritesh Kumar, Sharad Sen Sharma, and Rohan Sen Sharma, IIT and IIM graduates who chose manufacturing over the easier bets. Joined by Adarsh Sikaria as CRO, the team set out to solve the hardest problem in the world's largest industry: why factories break when their owners try to grow them.
In 2025, AI crossed the operations threshold. For the first time, software could do more than record a factory, it could run it. It could quote a customer, plan the schedule, chase an overdue payment, flag a quality risk. What it needed was context. We had the context.
This is TranZact's next chapter. We believe in a new kind of factory: the AI-Run Factory.

Our Journey
2017: TranZact launches. Mesco Springs becomes our first customer in Vasai, Mumbai.
2018: Full inventory and production modules go live.
2019: TranZact runs a successful pilot for its Marketplace, enabling customers to identify new suppliers with the power of technology.
2020: Freemium model launches. Every SME can try business automation, free.
2021: TranZact crosses the 10,000+ manufacturer milestone, and closes a $7M Series A led by Tribe Capital with Prime Venture Partners, Gemba Capital, and Kae Capital.
2022: TranZact grows to a team of 40 and is featured in 'Startups Employees Love 2022' by People Excellence.
2025: Agentic AI crosses the operations threshold. TranZact begins the shift from system of record to the AI that runs the factory.
2026: TranZact launches the AI-Run Factory.
