Case study · Albatross Projects RF Technology, semi-anechoic chamber maker in Jodhpur
From Word and Excel to purchase, QC and orders in TranZact
How a Jodhpur maker of semi-anechoic chambers moved project parts lists, purchase and quality checks from Word and Excel into TranZact.
Before
Albatross Projects works as a project company. It buys many items, makes some parts itself, puts the full package together and installs it on site.
The company was starting its own production in India, for parts that were made in Germany and Belgium until then. Sheets come in, get checked, and are split across projects before cutting, bending and welding.
The project team planned each job in Word and Excel. Material bought locally at site was recorded by hand, so extra cost per project was not visible straight away.
The project team can take what they are currently doing in Word and Excel, [and] straight away do [it] in this software.Manish JoshiAlbatross Projects RF Technology
