Case study · Contendre Greenergy, solar panel manufacturer in Mumbai
Purchase to dispatch in one system, synced to Tally
How a Mumbai solar panel manufacturer with two plants moved stock off Excel and runs purchase, QC and dispatch in TranZact.
Before
Contendre Greenergy makes solar panels at two plants, with a third on the way. Every panel carries its own serial number and barcode.
Accounts ran in Tally. Inventory ran in Excel, and that kept causing trouble. An earlier system they tried could handle production and quality, but didn't fit the way their material actually moves.
They wanted something simple for the stores, purchase and finance team members, and something that works with Tally.
Our product is strictly linked with certain barcode. Every product is like a mobile: different serial numbers.Yash ShethContendre Greenergy
What changed
Go-live at the start of the financial year.
From April 2026, every new sales and purchase transaction is entered in TranZact.
Purchase to stock in one flow
PO, then inward and GRN, then a quality inspection before stock.
Dispatch from TranZact
Delivery challans and invoices, with e-way bills and e-invoices generated through the GST API.
Tally sync for accounting, so the finance team keeps Tally.
Production entries against work orders and BOMs.
What they use TranZact for today
As of October 2026, Contendre Greenergy uses TranZact to:
Create purchase orders and receive material through GRNs
Record quality inspections before material goes to stock
Raise sales orders, delivery challans and invoices
Log production entries
Sync to Tally for accounts
Questions owners ask
Can TranZact generate e-way bills and e-invoices?
Yes. Contendre Greenergy connected its GST API account in TranZact at go-live, so e-way bills and e-invoices come from the same flow as the invoice.
Do we still need Tally?
Yes, for accounts. Contendre Greenergy runs purchase, stock, quality and dispatch in TranZact and syncs to Tally for accounting.
