Six production stages tracked in TranZact instead of Excel formulas

How a Pune maker of labels, decals and automotive badges tracks a six-stage process with work orders and production entries in TranZact.

Before

The old wayExcel sheets

Every Durasign job moves through six stages: pre-cut, printing, combination, moulding, passing and a final check. A different person handles each stage and hands the job to the next.

Management wanted to see which stage each job was in and how long each stage took. To work that out, the team kept time stamps in Excel and built formulas on top of them.

In Excel we had put multiple formulas for the time difference.
