Enquiries, purchase and bills out of Google Sheets into TranZact

How an Ahmedabad switchgear maker moved enquiry tracking, purchase and supplier bills from Google Forms and Sheets into TranZact.

Before

The old wayPaper trail

Elecmech gets many enquiries a day, each tagged by sector so the team can see where business comes from. Enquiries were tracked in a large Google Sheet. Purchases often start with RFQs to several suppliers.

Supplier bills were logged through a Google Form into a sheet: order number, invoice details, GST, payment terms. Payment status was shown by colour, and a separate sheet tracked what was due each month. The accounts team kept the books in Tally.

This sheet is filled by my purchase people, and Tally is filled by my accounts people.
