Case study · Munters India Humidity Control, humidity control equipment maker in Mumbai

Inventory and production in TranZact, finance in Tally

How a Mumbai humidity control equipment maker moved purchase, QC, BOMs and production out of a customised Tally ERP into TranZact.

Before

The old wayPaper trail

Munters India builds equipment against sales orders, with a work order released for each. Purchase starts with a material purchase requisition. Quality checks happen at stages, in the middle and at the end of manufacturing, and some work goes to subcontractors.

The company ran on Tally ERP with a lot of customisation for its needs. Quality checks were recorded on paper.

The plan was clear from the start: operations in TranZact, finance in Tally.

The inventory part will be done on the TranZact, but the financing part will be only done on a Tally ERP.

  4. Tally sync for the finance side.
