Case study · Visionova Multisource, baking paper maker in Sonipat
Material planning, purchase and production in one system
How a Sonipat baking paper maker moved material planning, purchase, QC and production off Excel and back-and-forth into TranZact.
Before
Visionova makes baking paper: it buys paper and coats it. Export orders are customised; domestic orders follow stock levels.
Every order went through material planning, purchase, production planning, job work, store issue, quality checks and dispatch, with a different team at each step. Knowing when incoming material would arrive meant calls between teams.
Daily production was tracked on an Excel dashboard. BOMs changed often, and updating the master BOM was hard.
That's where a lot of coordination back and forth happens between the coordination and purchase team.Mridul GuptaVisionova Multisource
