Hero Background

TranZact and Oracle NetSuite solve different problems. TranZact is manufacturing AI software for Indian factories. It runs enquiry to dispatch and keeps your accounts in Tally. It starts at ₹8,333 a month billed yearly for 4 users and goes live in 2–3 weeks. NetSuite is a global cloud ERP with full financials and multi-company accounting, priced by quote and usually set up by an implementation partner.

Who each one is built for

TranZact is built for owner-led Indian manufacturers. AI runs your entire operations from enquiry to dispatch, while your accounts stay in Tally. It is built on 7 years of learning from 10,000+ manufacturers.

NetSuite is a multitenant cloud ERP sold as a subscription, with one version for all users and automatic updates. Its products include NetSuite ERP, OneWorld, CRM, SuitePeople for HR and payroll, SuiteCommerce, and planning and budgeting.

Production and purchase: BOM, MRP, routing, job work

TranZact

The Grow plan includes multi-step BOM and production, production costing, routing and sub-contracting. The MRP engine runs through your orders and BOMs, then tells you what to buy and when.

On the shop floor, a photo of a paper entry becomes a system entry. Supplier invoices are matched to POs, and customer payments are logged without typing. For job work, read our guide to ITC-04 job work tracking.

TranZact's purchase flow, from MRP to GRN
  1. MRP report shows what to buy

  2. Indent for the materials needed

  3. RFQ to vendors

  4. PO to the chosen vendor

  5. GRN when goods arrive

NetSuite (Advanced Manufacturing, outsourced production)

Core NetSuite ERP covers accounting, inventory, supply chain and order management. The Advanced Manufacturing SuiteApp adds a routing work bench and work instructions. It also covers planned start and end times, downtime and loss, labour codes and mobile shop-floor data capture.

For job work, NetSuite runs outsourced production from a purchase order or a work order. The outsourced PO picks the BOM and revision. Receiving the goods creates assembly builds.

GST e-invoice and e-way bill

In TranZact, the e-way bill is generated from the GST invoice, with the e-invoice (IRN) in the same flow. This is on all plans.

In NetSuite, India GST comes through the India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp. It covers GST calculation, e-invoicing, TDS and e-way bills. It needs SuiteTax enabled and set up by your NetSuite account manager.

Oracle's help says NetSuite supports only GST EWB-01 for e-way bills. You generate an E-Way Bill report and export it as CSV for the E-Way Bill portal. Then you update each transaction with the EWB number and date.

Accounting: keep Tally or replace it?

TranZact does not replace your accounts. Operations run in TranZact and accounts stay in Tally, with one-way sync and no double entry. It also works with Busy and Zoho Books: see how TranZact works with Tally, Busy and Zoho.

NetSuite keeps accounting inside the ERP. OneWorld adds multi-country, multi-currency and multi-subsidiary accounts. If you want financials, CRM and HR in one system, NetSuite is built for that.

What it costs a 10-user factory per year

NetSuite (partner estimates)

Oracle publishes no price list. RSM says the price depends on configuration, add-on modules, user count and contract length. These estimates are from epiqinfo.com, dated 3 August 2026, in US dollars:

  • Base licence: about $999–$5,000 a month, by edition.

  • Full users: about $125–$199 per user a month, 10-user minimum.

  • Manufacturing: about $600–$2,000 a month.

  • Small rollout (5–20 users, one entity): $25,000–$50,000 over 8–12 weeks.

  • Premium support: about 15–25% of the annual licence.

The same source says most buyers sign 3-year terms. Ask your partner for a written quote that adds up every line.

Go-live, setup and support

TranZact goes live in 2–3 weeks, with no consultants and no IT team. Chat support runs 10:00–19:00, Monday to Saturday, with a first response within 1 hour. Data is stored in India, on AWS servers in Mumbai.

NetSuite setup is usually led by a partner. Oracle's Advanced Manufacturing help points to NetSuite Professional Services. Partner estimates put a small rollout at 8–12 weeks and a full rollout at six to twelve months.

Choose NetSuite if… Choose TranZact if…

Choose NetSuite if you run a group across several countries. It suits buyers who want financials, CRM, HR and e-commerce in one system, with a partner budget.

Choose TranZact if you are an owner-led Indian manufacturer keeping Tally. It suits you when production, purchase and inventory must be live in weeks, at a published price.

TranZact's limits matter here too. It is not a full financials suite, and it is not built for multi-country group consolidation. Support is chat, in business hours, Monday to Saturday.

Ask both vendors before you sign
  • Total yearly cost for your user count

  • Who does setup, and how long

  • How the e-way bill is generated

  • Do accounts stay in Tally?

  • How job work is tracked
