Marg software price in 2026: the short answer

Marg's price depends on the edition (Basic, Silver or Gold) and on whether you run it on a desktop or on Marg Cloud. Edition prices are on request. Marg's Cloud FAQ lists the Silver Cloud renewal at ₹10,800 per user plus ₹4,500 a year, plus GST. That comes to ₹1,12,500 a year for 10 users. A factory should also check what it needs beyond billing: BOM, production, job work, multi-store stock and MRP.

Marg editions and what each costs

Marg's help centre names three ERP editions: Basic, Silver and Gold. A single-user Home Edition can be used with any of them, one per licence.

Edition licence and Software AMC prices are on request, so ask Marg or its dealer for a written quote. Dealers sell Marg, so quotes can differ.

Is Marg software free?

The Marg pages we read don't mention a free plan. Ask Marg about a trial.

Marg Cloud charges and yearly renewal

Marg Cloud costs the Marg ERP price plus ₹7,500 a year. Premium adds ₹10,800 a year, and Dedicated (VPC) adds ₹45,000 a month. All are plus GST, and each plan includes one company and one user.

Renewal is the number of users × plan cost, plus a Software AMC fee and GST:

• Basic Cloud: users × ₹7,500 + ₹3,750

• Basic Cloud Premium: users × ₹10,800 + ₹3,750

• Silver Cloud and Silver Cloud Premium: users × ₹10,800 + ₹4,500

Extra users or companies cost ₹7,500 + GST a year, or ₹10,800 + GST on Premium and VPC. The FAQ gives no Gold cloud renewal, so ask Marg for it.

How much is a billing software?

On Marg Cloud, it is the Marg ERP cost plus ₹7,500 + GST a year, for one company and one user. Each extra user adds to that every year.

What a 10–20 user factory pays for Marg each year

What a manufacturer needs beyond billing

A manufacturer also needs to know what goes into each product, what to buy and where stock sits. Here is what Marg's help pages show.

• BOM: turned on in Control Room via "Bill of Material (General Manufacturing)". A manufacturing formula lists the final product and sub-items, with quantity and cost.

• Production: raw material is issued for production, and the final product is received into stock.

• Reports: Pending & Register, Costing and Production Planning.

• Job work: recorded as a sale bill with the sale type "Job work".

• Multi-store: a "Godown wise Stock" statement under Stocks > Filtered Stock, for one store or all stores.

The pages we read don't describe multi-level BOMs, MRP, or tracking material sent to job workers and back. Ask Marg to show you each one on your own product.

Is Marg ERP good?

Google shows Marg's home page titled "GST Billing, Inventory & Accounting Software". If that is your main need, it is a good fit to shortlist. If you run production, test one real order end to end.

Which is better, Marg or Tally?

Is ERP software free?

Some plans are. TranZact's Free plan is ₹0 for 3 users and covers enquiries, quotations and transactions: 100 enquiries, 100 quotations and 30 transactions a month. Production and inventory start on Scale. The Marg pages we read show no free plan.

How much does GST billing software cost?

It depends on how many users you need and what the software must run, not just billing. Compare every quote per year, for the same number of users.
