Hero Background

TranZact is manufacturing AI software that works alongside Tally. Your team runs enquiry to dispatch in TranZact, and your accountant keeps the books in Tally. Invoice and voucher data passes one way, from TranZact into Tally, so nobody types the same entry twice. The Tally integration comes with the Grow, Scale+ and Dominate plans.

The problem this solves

Most manufacturers we talk to run on Tally, Excel and WhatsApp. Tally records the accounts. Excel holds the production plan. WhatsApp is where the real follow-up happens.

None of these knows when a purchase order is overdue or when stock is about to run out. The owner does. So the owner ends up connecting three tools that don't talk to each other.

Tally is not the problem. It does its job: the books. The gap is everything outside the books: orders, purchase, production, stock and dispatch. That is the part TranZact runs.

What flows, and in which direction

Here is what the TranZact site says today about the Tally link. Each line is dated and linked to its source.

What runs in TranZact, what stays in Tally

Runs in TranZact

  • Sales: enquiry, quotation, order timeline, dispatch, e-invoicing and payment.

  • Purchase: MRP report, indent, RFQ, PO, GRN and payment. The MRP engine runs through your orders and BOMs, then tells you what to buy and when. You still decide every purchase.

  • Production: multi-level BOM, work orders, process routing, sub-contracting and production costing.

  • Inventory: stock in, bin card, issue, multi-store, reorder and AI stock alerts.

  • Dispatch paperwork: TranZact generates the e-way bill from the GST invoice, with the e-invoice (IRN) in the same flow. This is on all plans.

Stays in Tally

  • Your books and ledgers.

  • Your accountant's or CA's routine. It does not change.

  • The accounting system your team already trusts.

In short: TranZact runs operations. Tally handles the accounts. Both do their job.

Set-up: how TranZact goes live next to Tally

You don't need an IT team or a consultant. TranZact goes live in 2–3 weeks. These are the steps listed on our how it works and overview pages.

  1. Pick a plan with the Tally integration. Grow, Scale+ or Dominate.

  2. Connect your data. Link your Tally, upload your Excel masters, or start fresh. Our team migrates your existing data in days.

  3. Set up master data. Users, buyer and supplier master, item master.

  4. Map BOMs and processes. We map your production flows and the steps between them.

  5. Practise before go-live. Q&A and practice sessions for your team members, with a dedicated product expert assigned.

  6. Go live on your current process. Sales and purchase run on TranZact without changing how you work today. Accounting is not disturbed.

One tip from the floor: in the first weeks, ask your accountant to look over the entries that reach Tally. They know your ledgers best.
